Metal gear world championship win 8k and trip to japan

This summer, GameBattles is proud to host the North American Qualifying leg of the Metal Gear Online World Championship, which will offer the two winning teams a trip to Tokyo, Japan! The ladder competition kicks off on August 18th, and is free to all GameBattles users. Square Enix’s DKS3713 fan event in Tokyo brought with it a few surprises, all of which were welcome. In particular, the news that Final Fantasy Agito XIII (the mobile-phone installment of the Fabula Nova Crystalis franchise) will be released for PSP echoes E3’s revelation of Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360 as a move that guarantees far more Western fans will have access to the game. We’re not entirely certain if Agito is exclusively PSP-based now, but it seems likely given the brief gameplay glimpses shown in the revised game trailer.

And what a trailer it is. Where previous glimpses of the game showed what appeared to be a sort of card-based battler with the usual Tetsuya Nomura-style CG art — young beautiful people looking heroic — the new teaser for the game is considerably darker. It begins with heavily stylized CG footage designed to resemble World War II-era newsreels (sepia tinted, high contrast, and a highly militaristic feel) as a Hitler-esque leader commands a stylized army to symbolically assault a castle-like structure — the magic academy depicted in the prior game trailer. Inside, the academy’s crystal cracks and fragments, and a team of young students stands at bay as they’re surrounded by an army. It definitely has shades of the Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer, with almost real-world magic users overwhelmed in a standoff with realistic military forces, yet it has a feel all its own and stands apart from anything that’s ever borne the Final Fantasy name before.

Gears of war 1 & 2 graphics comparison

It seems that Gears Of war 2 graphics have greatly improved over gears 1. as you can see in the picture things like the character models have much more detail. instead of the game being very bright it seems they focused on making it more photo realistic as infinity ward did with call of duty 4. there are somethings i feel dont look right doh. like the sky it looks less real in terms of texture to me. this is open for discussion so leave comments and state your opinions

Too Human Review

For everything Too Human does well, it feels as if there is something holding it back. The character customization options and great class and skill system are the kind of foundation games should be built on. But then it’s all made rather moot by the fact that dying doesn’t matter and all of the enemies scale to you. The sense of accomplishment just isn’t there. If you’re the kind of gamer that loves outfitting a character and scouring the land for that one epic loot drop, Too Human will excite you and then some. For the rest of us, it’s a decent game that will entertain you until the next big release comes along.
